Job summary

CVS Health's Minute Clinic Virtual Care Nurse Practitioner role is a remote, 6-month PRN contract offering care to patients 18 months and older through a remote platform. The NP collaborates with a dedicated team to provide holistic, evidenced-based care, including counseling and disposition planning.

Ideal candidates hold an active, unrestricted US licensure and a Master’s in Family NP with national certification.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted licensure in any US state/district.
• Minimum of two years of medically-relevant experience.
• Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Initiative, problem solving ability, adaptability and flexibility.
• Ability to work without direct supervision and practice autonomously.
• Capacity to collaborate with professional colleagues for quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, evidenced-based care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and disposition for patients aged 18 months and up.
• Evaluate primary and acute care patients and provide education and disposition planning.
• Counsel on pregnancy prevention, STI prevention, contraception, and medications management.
• Educate patients on health maintenance and respond to inquiries.
• Document all patient care in an EHR per MinuteClinic policies.
• Coordinate care with internal and external colleagues to ensure high-quality care.
• Collaborate with care team and advocate for patients and practice.
