Job summary

Amalie Oil Company is seeking a dynamic Northeast Territory Sales Representative to grow our lubricant distribution network across a multi-state territory. This remote role reports to the National Sales VP and requires up to 75% travel, covering NY, NJ, CT, MA, RI, MD, DE, NH, VT and ME.

You will cultivate new accounts, manage distributor relationships, and optimize pricing, quotes, and CRM records. 3+ years outside sales in lubricant distribution and MS Office/CRM proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outside sales experience in traditional lubricant distribution.
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proven outside sales performance and foundational sales training.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
• Experience managing multi-state sales territories is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Territory Growth: identify and cultivate new accounts while maintaining distributors.
• Relationship Management: build long-term supplier-client partnerships.
• Market Expertise: stay informed on lubricant distribution market trends.
• Sales Administration: present accurate data and maintain CRM records daily.
• Order Optimization: manage orders, delivery dates, inventory, and logistics.
• Pricing & Quotes: follow quote procedures and manage multi-level pricing.
• Strategic Travel: plan travel within the territory to maximize client face-time.
• Compliance & Reporting: meet monthly reporting directives and submit expense reports.
