Powernet is seeking a seasoned NOC Operations Lead to oversee daily network operations, incident management, and SLA adherence. This role emphasizes mentoring junior technicians and optimizing processes to improve overall NOC efficiency.

Remote work with occasional travel to customer sites around the Cincinnati tri-state area, requiring strong communication skills and ability to lead under pressure. A proven background in network troubleshooting and firewall management is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience.
• NSE4 Certifications required.
• Expert in troubleshooting and maintaining network environments.
• Outstanding customer service.
• Experience with firewall policies and VPNs.
• Fortinet, Ruckus experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise NOC technicians and manage queue.
• Monitor SLA and performance metrics.
• Escalation point for complex issues.
• Mentor and onboard new technicians.
• Develop SOPs and knowledge base.
• Lead Sev1 incidents and RCAs.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Management.
• Assist on installations and deployments.
• Train junior staff.
