Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Sr Dispatcher for national fleet dispatch operations. The role coordinates repairs and maintenance, coordinating across customers, vendors, and internal teams. It operates overnight with a 4:00 PM–10:00 AM shift, and can be performed remotely from anywhere in the country.

Overtime may be available depending on demand. The National Coordinator models best practices, mentors teammates, and upholds Cox Fleet standards for service and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Strong communication with customers and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple service events and changing priorities.
• Experience with dispatch or fleet management workflows.
• Familiarity with MS Office and email platforms.

Responsibilities

• Service Coordination and Dispatch for fleet events, from client request to repair-completion.
• Manage event lifecycle for maintenance, towing, and emergency service.
• Ensure technicians receive events quickly and request additional work when needed.
• Re-assign events not completed in first assignment.
• Assess events and dispatch for best client outcomes.
• Assign work with time-based KPIs in mind.
• Identify KPI gaps and coordinate with local leaders to fix them.
• Audit open work requests for daily-update compliance.
• Monitor events, track arrivals, and update customers and leadership on delays.
