Qualifications

• Experience with appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and patient communication.
• Familiarity with healthcare workflows, medical terminology and EMR systems.
• Experience coordinating referrals is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently.
• Process medication prior authorization requests and liaise with insurers and providers.
• Verify insurance eligibility and document coverage in the EMR.
• Receive, track, and manage patient referrals with providers and insurers.
• Handle patient inquiries and maintain high-quality patient communications.
