Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Pre‑Sales Systems Engineer to support delivery of complex networking solutions in a remote role with travel to customer sites in Washington state. The position requires working from home, with occasional in-person engagements as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking technologies, pre‑sales activities, and the ability to translate business needs into technical proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or significant pre‑sales experience.
• Minimum 4+ years of technical professional experience.
• Extensive networking experience: routing, switching, Wi‑Fi, security, SASE, network management.
• Networking certifications (HPE, Aruba, Juniper, Cisco, etc.).
• Experience with Network Access Security (Clearpass, ISE, etc.).
• Experience creating solution sales spanning multiple product/service portfolios.
• Strong communicator with customer-facing skills.
• Team oriented in a competitive market.

Responsibilities

• Define a Technological Roadmap for assigned clients with focus on priority areas.
• Create and document technology solutions and proposals.
• Implement and support customer Proof of Concept engagements.
• Maintain knowledge of competitive offerings and differentiators.
• Collaborate with Territory Manager to present a comprehensive pitch to clients.
• Lead in a team environment to tailor innovative solutions for clients.
