Job summary

Experis Technology Group is seeking an Operations Specialist for the Global Network Operations Center. The role is remote and focuses on monitoring, triage, and resolution of critical network and system incidents affecting players and internal teams.

You will work with Linux systems, networking fundamentals, and a range of observability tools to improve detection, reduce noise, and document procedures for faster recovery during outages.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Linux (bash, debugging, tuning) and logs/metrics during incidents.
• Strong networking fundamentals for triage and mitigation.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch/Kibana, Datadog, CloudWatch, GCP Operations, LogicMonitor).
• Familiarity with alert correlation platforms (BigPanda, ScienceLogic, Tivoli/Netcool) and tuning monitoring.
• Ability to review and update runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inbound communications to identify player-impacting incidents.
• Triage issues using Linux, networking, and cloud knowledge.
• Drive incidents to resolution with effective investigation and follow-through.
• Adjust alert triggers to reduce false positives and improve signal quality.
