Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC is hiring a National Account Manager to lead a significant portfolio of group purchasing organizations (GPOs). This home-based role reports to the Director National Accounts and develops value-added strategies that drive profitable growth.

You will negotiate with national GPOs, manage cross-functional projects, maintain strong distributor relationships, and monitor agreements for opportunities and risk while traveling up to 30% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3 years outside sales/merchant/buyer experience.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and CRM tools.
• Valid US driver's license.
• Willing to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract negotiations with national GPOs and/or cooperatives.
• Strengthen GPO relationships through cross-functional projects and sales initiatives (Joint Business Planning, Campaign Management, Implementation, Standardization & Optimization).
• Interact with distributor partners to execute programs with GPOs that drive profitable growth for Georgia-Pacific.
• Continually monitor agreements for opportunities and risks.
• Proficient understanding of contract language to manage relationships and expectations.
• Leverage partnerships to identify and pursue targets for joint business development.
