Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a National Account Manager to lead and grow a significant portfolio of group purchasing organizations. The NAM will negotiate contracts, drive cross-functional initiatives, and optimize programs to deliver profitable growth for GP.

This home-based role reports to the Director National Accounts. You will build strong relationships with national GPOs and distributors, manage agreements, and work across teams to pursue joint business opportunities, while traveling up to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3 years of outside sales/merchant/buyer or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Valid US Driver's License.
• Willing to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract negotiations with national GPOs and cooperatives, coordinating internal and external communications and strategy.
• Strengthen GPO relationships via effective customer wiring and cross-functional projects (Joint Business Planning, Campaign Management, Implementation, Standardization & Optimization).
• Interact with distributor partners to execute programs with GPOs that drive profitable growth for GP and distribution.
• Monitor agreements for opportunities and risks.
• Understand contract language to manage relationships and expectations.
• Leverage partnerships to identify and pursue targets for joint business development.
