Job summary

Autocar, the GVW Group's premium vocational truck brand, seeks a National Accounts Fleet Director to manage strategic national fleet relationships in the refuse sector. This remote, director-level role focuses on direct engagement with fleet managers, district leaders, and C-suite executives to drive value.

Qualifications

5–7 years of demonstrated success in the refuse industry.
Experience selling directly to end-user fleets as an OEM representative or equivalent.
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Own national fleet accounts for large operators (200+ vehicles).
Serve as primary contact with national fleet customers, ensuring direct, uninterrupted engagement with customers.
Build long-cycle partnerships based on vocational understanding and fleet economics.
Identify growth opportunities, expand market share, and negotiate contracts.
Translate customer needs into precise truck specifications with Eng/Prod teams.
