Job summary

Autocar, LLC, part of the GVW Group, is seeking a National Accounts Fleet Director to lead national fleet relationships in the refuse vocational sector. This remote, director-level role focuses on direct factory-owned partnerships, managing 200+ vehicle fleets, and driving revenue growth across the country.

You will own key accounts, negotiate contracts, and translate customer needs into truck specifications, collaborating with product engineering.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in the refuse industry with customer relationships and growth experience.
• Experience selling to end-user fleets as an OEM or equivalent role.
• Understanding of refuse operations, fleet economics, and truck specs.

Responsibilities

• Own national fleet accounts and grow direct relationships with 200+ vehicle operators.
• Present proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage high-level discussions with executives.
• Translate customer needs into precise truck specifications and coordinate with engineering.
• Drive revenue growth, market share, and account expansion through direct sales.
