Job summary

Ukraine2EU Programme seeks a National Expert on the Rights of National Minorities and European Integration to support the Secretariat of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights in Kyiv. The assignment aims to strengthen capacity to contribute to Ukraine’s EU accession through on-site expert support with remote work options.

Tasks include reviewing draft acts, preparing positions on EU legislation, reporting on Roadmaps and Action Plans, drafting inputs for annual reports,

Qualifications

• University degree in law or related field and strong knowledge of EU integration processes.
• Experience in legal analysis, policy development or human rights work is required.
• Proficiency in Ukrainian and English (B2-C1) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous expert support in reviewing EU-related draft acts.
• Contribute to positions on EU legislation and reports for oversight bodies.
• Prepare materials for reporting on Roadmaps and Action Plans quarterly.
• Draft inputs for annual EU enlargement reports and coordinate translations.
