Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a National Business Development Manager to lead the growth of its Data Center aftermarket service nationwide. The role focuses on expanding maintenance agreements, attachment rates, and recurring revenue by partnering with District Service teams and senior leadership.

The position requires strategic leadership, collaboration across functions, and travel flexibility for a remote USA role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years relevant experience, including 5+ years of management, leadership, business development, or strategic sales experience.
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the national strategy for Data Center aftermarket service growth, focusing on maintenance agreements and recurring revenue.
• Partner with District Service organizations to price, propose, negotiate, and secure Data Center maintenance agreements and other opportunities.
• Act as the national Data Center service subject matter expert on operations, customer requirements, and market trends.
• Meet with SVP of Sales and VP of National Accounts to understand market activity and customer requirements.
• Develop standardized maintenance programs and scopes of work for national use while allowing local flexibility.
• Establish national pricing strategies balancing customer needs with profitability.
• Convert equipment customers to long-term service customers and expand to additional facilities.
• Support District Service teams on complex opportunities including meetings, proposals, negotiations, and contracts.
• Coordinate national Data Center opportunities to provide a consistent service experience while maintaining local ownership.
• Develop tools, templates, pricing methodologies, and best practices to improve sales efficiency.
