Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a National Analytic Consultant – Employee Benefits to lead analytics across the Benefits Group. Remote Eastern Time Zone and Florida locations meet client needs and drive underwriting, renewal, and funding analyses.

The role collaborates with Producers, account teams, and carriers to deliver insightful, data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of analytics and underwriting experience, strong communication, and expertise in BI tools and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of underwriting, manual rating methodologies, and funding.
• Understanding of experience rating, claim cost projections, and data-driven analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and consultative skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and interpret underwriting, claims, financial, and benefits data.
• Evaluate underwriting data and support carrier pricing and funding analyses.
• Deliver data-driven insights to clients to inform decisions.
• Provide analytical support for renewals, presentations, and business development.
• Create reports, dashboards, and presentations communicating complex information clearly.
• Develop analytics methodologies and best practices to improve results.
• Utilize BI tools to enhance client outcomes.
• Analyze trends and financial metrics to identify optimization opportunities.
• Recommend process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with Senior Analytic Consultants, Producers, and accounts.
