Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a National Analytic Consultant – Employee Benefits to lead national data analytics, focusing on underwriting analytics, funding analyses, and client insights. You will partner with Senior Analytic Consultants, Producers, and Benefits teams to deliver data-driven recommendations that support underwriting evaluations, renewals, and strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or related field.
• Knowledge of underwriting, manual rating methodologies, funding arrangements, healthcare pricing tools.
• Understanding of experience rating, claim cost projections, and data-driven financial analysis.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and consultative solution-development skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and interpret underwriting, claims, financial, and benefits data to support client strategy and decision-making.
• Evaluate underwriting data and develop recommendations to support carrier pricing, negotiations, and funding analyses.
• Deliver data-driven insights that help clients understand risks, trends, opportunities, and program performance.
• Provide analytical support for renewals, presentations, prospecting, and business development initiatives.
• Create reports, dashboards, financial exhibits, and presentations that communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
• Develop and maintain analytics methodologies, reporting standards, and best practices to improve consistency and results.
• Utilize and evaluate analytics, reporting, and business intelligence tools to enhance client outcomes and operational effectiveness.
