Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a National Analytic Consultant – Employee Benefits to lead analytics across the benefits group, supporting underwriting, renewal analyses, funding assessments, and client decision‑making. This role partners with Senior Analytic Consultant, Producers, and Benefits teams to deliver data‑driven insights that inform strategic actions.

Work mode includes Remote Eastern Time Zone and Florida, with occasional on‑site in Longwood, FL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Knowledge of underwriting, manual rating methodologies, funding arrangements, healthcare pricing tools, and financial risk assessment principles.
• Understanding of experience rating, claim cost projections, and data-driven financial analysis.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and consultative solution‑development skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Data Analytics & Interpretation: Gather, analyze, and interpret underwriting, claims, financial, and benefits data.
• Underwriting Support: Evaluate underwriting data and develop recommendations for pricing and funding analyses.
• Client Consulting: Deliver data-driven insights on risks, trends, opportunities, and program performance.
• Sales Support: Provide analytical support for renewals, presentations, prospecting, and business development.
• Reporting & Presentation Development: Create reports, dashboards, and exhibits to communicate complex data clearly.
• Analytics Process Management: Develop and maintain analytics methodologies and reporting standards.
• Technology Optimization: Utilize BI tools to enhance client outcomes and efficiency.
• Performance Analysis: Identify opportunities for optimization via trend benchmarking and financial metrics.
• Process Improvement: Implement improvements to increase efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Senior Analytic Consultants, Producers, and account teams.
• Communication: Maintain clear communication of analytical findings and recommendations.
• Training & Knowledge Sharing: Support team development through knowledge sharing.
• Technical Expertise: Maintain knowledge of underwriting methodologies, funding arrangements, analytics tools, and market trends.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
