Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a National Analytic Consultant – Employee Benefits to lead data analytics on a national scale and support underwriting, renewals, and client decision-making. The role collaborates with benefits teams and producers to deliver insights, optimize funding analyses, and improve client outcomes.

Strong MS Office skills and 5–7 years of experience are required. Remote Eastern Time Zone and Florida candidates are encouraged to apply; longwood, FL location may apply

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science or related field.
• Knowledge of underwriting, manual rating methodologies, funding arrangements, healthcare pricing tools, and financial risk assessment.
• Understanding of experience rating, claim cost projections, and data-driven financial analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with consultative solution development.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and customer service abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Data Analytics & Interpretation: Gather, analyze, and interpret underwriting, claims, financial, and benefits data.
• Underwriting Support: Develop recommendations to support carrier pricing, negotiations, and funding analyses.
• Client Consulting: Deliver data-driven insights on risks, trends, and program performance.
• Sales Support: Provide analytical support for renewals, presentations, prospecting, and business development.
• Reporting & Presentation Development: Create reports, dashboards, and financial exhibits.
• Analytics Process Management: Maintain analytics methodologies and reporting standards.
