Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a National Analytic Consultant – Employee Benefits to lead nationwide data analytics activities, collect and interpret underwriting, claims, financial, and benefits data, and deliver insights to drive client decisions.

The role partners with Senior Analytic Consultants, Producers, and Benefits teams to support underwriting evaluations, renewal negotiations, and strategic client outcomes. RemoteEastern Time Zone and Florida alignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or related field.
• Knowledge of underwriting, manual rating methodologies, funding arrangements, healthcare pricing tools, and financial risk assessment principles.
• Understanding of experience rating, claim cost projections, and data-driven financial analysis.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and consultative solution-development skills.

Responsibilities

• Data analytics & interpretation: gather, analyze, and interpret underwriting, claims, financial, and benefits data.
• Underwriting support: evaluate data and provide recommendations for carrier pricing and funding analyses.
• Client consulting: deliver data-driven insights to support client decisions.
• Sales support: provide analytical backing for renewals, prospecting, and business development.
• Reporting & presentation: create reports and dashboards to communicate complex information clearly.
• Analytics process management: maintain methodologies and reporting standards.
• Technology optimization: evaluate analytics tools to enhance outcomes.
• Performance analysis: analyze trends and metrics to identify optimization opportunities.
• Compliance: adhere to policies and analytical procedures.
• Stakeholder collaboration: partner with teams to support client objectives.
