Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a National Analytic Consultant – Employee Benefits to lead data analytics on a national scale. The role supports underwriting evaluations, renewals, funding analyses, and client decisions.

The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of analytics experience, expertise in underwriting and funding, and strong communication skills to consult with clients and teams. This is a remote position with East Time Zone and Florida considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Knowledge of underwriting, manual rating methodologies, funding arrangements, healthcare pricing tools, and financial risk assessment principles.
• Understanding of experience rating, claim cost projections, and data-driven financial analysis.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and consultative solution-development skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Data Analytics & Interpretation: Gather, analyze, and interpret underwriting, claims, financial, and benefits data to support client strategy.
• Underwriting Support: Evaluate underwriting data and develop recommendations for carrier pricing, negotiations, and funding analyses.
• Client Consulting: Deliver data-driven insights that help clients understand risks, trends, opportunities, and program performance.
• Sales Support: Provide analytical backing for renewals, presentations, prospecting, and business development initiatives.
• Reporting & Presentation Development: Create reports and dashboards that communicate complex information clearly.
