Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, or related field.
• Knowledge of underwriting, manual rating methodologies, funding arrangements, healthcare pricing tools, and financial risk assessment principles.
• Understanding of experience rating, claim cost projections, and data-driven financial analysis.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and consultative solution-development skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Data analytics & interpretation: Gather, analyze, and interpret underwriting, claims, financial, and benefits data to support client strategy and decision-making.
• Underwriting support: Evaluate underwriting data and develop recommendations to support carrier pricing, negotiations, and funding analyses.
• Client consulting: Deliver data-driven insights to help clients understand risks, trends, opportunities, and program performance.
• Sales support: Provide analytical support for renewals, presentations, prospecting, and business development initiatives.
• Reporting & presentation development: Create reports, dashboards, financial exhibits, and presentations that communicate complex information clearly.
• Analytics process management: Develop and maintain analytics methodologies, reporting standards, and best practices.
• Technology optimization: Utilize analytics tools to enhance client outcomes and operational effectiveness.
• Performance analysis: Analyze trends and financial metrics to identify opportunities for optimization.
