Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a National Analytic Consultant – Employee Benefits to lead analytics across underwriting, renewal, and client decision-making. You will partner with Senior Analytic Consultants, Producers, and Benefits teams to deliver data-driven insights supporting growth and client outcomes.

You will gather and interpret underwriting, claims, and financial data, develop dashboards and reports, and provide strategic analytical guidance to carriers and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or related field.
• Knowledge of underwriting, manual rating methodologies, funding arrangements, healthcare pricing tools, and financial risk assessment principles.
• Understanding of experience rating, claim cost projections, and data-driven financial analysis.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and consultative solution-development skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Data analytics and interpretation of underwriting, claims, financial, and benefits data.
• Support carrier pricing, negotiations, and funding analyses.
• Deliver data-driven insights for risk, trends, opportunities, and program performance.
• Provide analytical support for renewals, presentations, prospecting, and business development.
• Create reports, dashboards, financial exhibits, and presentations.
• Develop analytics methodologies, reporting standards, and best practices.
• Evaluate analytics tools to enhance client outcomes and operational effectiveness.
• Analyze trends, benchmarking data, and financial metrics.
• Recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Collaborate with senior consultants, producers, and account teams.
