Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a National Analytic Consultant – Employee Benefits to lead analytics nationwide. You will collect, analyze, and interpret underwriting, claims, and financial data and partner with benefits teams to provide data-driven client insights.

The role supports underwriting evaluations, renewals, funding analyses, and strategic decisions, leveraging BI tools and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or related field.
• Knowledge of underwriting, manual rating methodologies, funding arrangements and pricing tools.
• Understanding of experience rating, claim cost projections and data-driven analysis.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and interpret underwriting, claims, financial and benefits data for client strategy.
• Evaluate underwriting data and develop recommendations for pricing and funding analyses.
• Deliver data-driven insights to help clients understand risks, trends, and performance.
• Provide analytical support for renewals, presentations, prospecting and business development.
• Create reports, dashboards, and presentations that clearly communicate complex data.
• Develop analytics methodologies and reporting standards to improve consistency.
• Utilize analytics tools to enhance client outcomes and operations.
• Analyze trends and financial metrics to identify optimization opportunities.
• Recommend process improvements to boost efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Collaborate with Senior Analytic Consultants, Producers, and carriers to support client objectives.
• Maintain clear communication of findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Share knowledge to support team development and continuous learning.
• Stay informed on underwriting methodologies and industry trends.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and analytical procedures.
• Champion IOA values with integrity, leadership, and accountability.
