Job summary

Meridian International seeks a results-driven National Account Manager to own and grow our hardware, lawn & garden, and storage channels with major U.S. retailers.

This remote position rewards autonomy, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration to expand assortment and shelf presence. You will lead joint business plans, analyze performance data, and build strong partnerships with buyers and merchandising teams while supporting product and marketing efforts to deliver profitable

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years managing national/regional accounts in hardware/home improvement channels.
• Proven track record of growing sales and expanding assortment.
• Strong entrepreneurial spirit with independent remote work.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel; moderate travel.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact and strategic partner for assigned national and key accounts (Menards, Ace Hardware, and Mid-States members).
• Develop and execute joint business plans and annual growth strategies with assortment recommendations.
• Build and maintain relationships with buyers, category managers, merchandising teams, and other stakeholders.
• Identify new product opportunities and expand distribution and shelf presence for Meridian’s lines.
• Analyze sales data, inventory, and retail performance to forecast demand and manage promotions.
• Collaborate with product development, marketing, supply chain, and operations to ensure seamless execution.
• Represent Meridian at key meetings, trade shows, and account business reviews.
• Act with an ownership mindset and drive results in a remote environment.
