Daikin Applied, the world’s largest HVAC company, is hiring a National Accounts Director to lead the Data Centers vertical within the National Accounts team. This remote role entails setting strategy, guiding a high-performing team, and partnering with executive leadership to drive profitable growth across major accounts.

You will shape market plans, coordinate with supply chain, manufacturing, and product development, and collaborate with marketing to boost visibility and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (Technical, Scientific, or Engineering) or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in sales or business development; including 6+ years of people leadership experience.
• History of leading high-performing sales teams through periods of rapid growth in the data center sector.
• Proven ability to develop executive-level relationships with C-suite leaders across data center operators, and hyperscalers.
• 5+ Years of related experience in HVAC sales.

Responsibilities

• Market Analysis: assess market intelligence, trends, growth potential and Daikin's position among standing/target accounts.
• Strategic Planning: develop data center vertical market strategy and long-term planning.
• Key Customer Planning & Execution: elevate Data Center team professionalism and scale complex solutions.
• Stakeholder Coordination: lead strategy implementation with supply chain, manufacturing, service operations, and product development.
• Marketing: collaborate with marketing for materials, events, and visibility.
• Team Management: lead and develop Data Center experts, grow pipeline, hire and train headcount.
