Daikin Applied, the world's largest HVAC company, is seeking a National Accounts Director to lead the Data Centers vertical as part of the National Accounts team. This role sets strategy, develops business plans, and drives profitable growth with executive-level sponsors.

Remote role with travel 50% as needed. You will build market insights, plan strategically, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and lead a team of data center experts to expand national accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (Technical, Scientific, or Engineering) or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in sales or business development; including 6+ years of people leadership experience.
• History of leading high-performing sales teams through periods of rapid growth in the data center sector.
• Proven ability to develop executive-level relationships with C-suite leaders across data center operators, and hyperscalers.
• 5+ Years of related experience in HVAC sales.

Responsibilities

• Market Analysis: assess and communicate market intelligence, including market characteristics, trends, and growth potential.
• Strategic Planning: develop and drive business strategy Data Center vertical market, provide updates to leadership; lead short- and long-term planning.
• Key Customer Planning & Execution: elevate Data Center team professionalism; scale complex solutions with cross-functional teams.
• Stakeholder Coordination: lead implementation of vertical market strategy with internal customers (supply chain, manufacturing, service, product development).
• Marketing: collaborate with marketing for materials, trade shows, and visibility; identify speaker events and opportunities.
• Team Management: lead Data Center experts; grow pipeline; hire, train, and develop talent.
