Daikin Applied Americas is seeking a National Accounts Director to lead the Data Centers vertical as part of the National Accounts team. Remote, travel 50% of the time, as needed.

You will set the vertical market strategy, develop business plans, drive growth, and coach a team of Data Center experts to deliver profitable results and exceptional customer experiences. This leadership role requires a strong track record in data center sales, executive relationships, and cross‑functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in sales or business development; including 6+ years people leadership experience.
• History of leading high-performing sales teams through periods of rapid growth in the data center sector.
• Proven ability to develop executive-level relationships with C-suite leaders across data center operators, and hyperscalers.

Responsibilities

• Market Analysis: assess and communicate market intelligence, including market characteristics, trends, and growth potential.
• Strategic Planning: develop and drive business strategy Data Center vertical market and provide updates to leadership.
• Key Customer Planning & Execution: elevate Data Center team, drive process improvement for customer experience, scale complex solutions.
• Stakeholder Coordination: lead vertical market strategy with internal customers including supply chain, manufacturing, service operations, and product development.
• Marketing: collaborate to determine materials, trade show participation, and visibility at events.
• Team Management: lead a team of Data Center experts, grow pipeline, hire and train new headcount, coach performance.
