Job summary

Syms Strategic Group, LLC (SSG) seeks a Software Testing Principal (MUMPS) for the VA project. This is a 100% remote, W-2 role requiring US citizenship and a Public Trust clearance, with a salary range of $80,000-$120,000.

You will lead testing across MUMPS/InterSystems Cache healthcare apps, design test plans, and coordinate with developers, analysts, and end users to ensure data integrity and compliance with HL7, FHIR, HIPAA, and EDI standards.

Qualifications

Experience in healthcare, government, or other highly regulated environments.
Experience testing MUMPS/InterSystems Cache applications.
Developed detailed test plans, scenarios, scripts, and cases.
Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, HIPAA EDI standards.
Experience with VistA and FileMan.
Strong defect tracking and test management skills.

Responsibilities

Support testing and QA for mission-critical healthcare applications in MUMPS/Cache.
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test scripts, and procedures.
Validate enhancements, maintenance releases, and system upgrades.
Coordinate with developers, analysts, and end users to validate requirements.
Track testing metrics, defects, risks, and status reports.
Perform functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
