Job summary

Syms Strategic Group, LLC (SSG) is seeking a talented Full Stack Developer (MUMPS) for a remote role in the Veterans Affairs domain. The position requires hands-on testing of mission-critical healthcare applications in a MUMPS/InterSystems Cache environment.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of software testing/QA experience in healthcare/government settings, proficiency with HL7/FHIR, and strong testing tools knowledge. This is a W-2 remote role with Public Trust clearance requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or related field.
Experience testing legacy healthcare systems and mission-critical apps.
Experience validating EDI/HL7/FHIR transactions in healthcare.
Strong knowledge of SDLC and testing methodologies.
Experience creating detailed test plans, cases, scripts, and UAT.

Responsibilities

Support testing for healthcare applications in MUMPS/InterSystems Cache environments.
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, scripts, and procedures.
Validate software changes and system upgrades across healthcare systems.
Perform functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
Verify data integrity and test data/environment readiness.
Collaborate with developers and business users to align test objectives.
