Trane Technologies is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to grow our MTA-USA industrial chiller distributor network and drive sales across assigned geographies.
You will identify opportunities, present solutions, and train channel partners, collaborating with commercial, technical and operations teams. Willingness to travel 50%+ and strong relationship-building are essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, business, or related field.
- 3–5 years in industrial equipment sales; chillers or related products preferred.
- Strong technical acumen in industrial processes and multichannel sales.
- Proven distributor growth and new distributor acquisition with targets.
- CRM (Salesforce), MS Office, and Tableau experience.
- Willingness to travel 50%+ within territory.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, independent or team player.
Responsabilités
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to grow distributor base.
- Identify new distribution opportunities through market research.
- Build and maintain distributor relationships, understand tech needs.
- Conduct product presentations and training for channel partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide feedback to sales and product management on market trends.
