Job summary

LocalEyes Group is seeking German native MT Post-Editors for remote, freelance work. You will post-edit MT outputs to reflect client specifications, fix terminology and style, and ensure high-quality translations for IT/software content.

Requires a translation or linguistics degree, MTPE experience, native German, and strong English skills. Familiarity with Translation Memory tools and CAT tools is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Translation, Applied Linguistics or equivalent experience.
• Native German language speaker.
• MT post-editing (MTPE) experience required.
• Excellent command of English (comprehension and writing).
• Experience with Translation Memory tools and TMS.

Responsibilities

• Perform Post-Editing (light and full) on MT outputs per client specifications.
• Ensure target text reflects source meaning and correct formatting.
• Implement corrections and text optimization based on MT output.
• Adhere to post-editing guidelines and quality standards.
