Job summary

LocalEyes Group is seeking Machine Translation Post-Editors (English) for remote freelance work. You will post-edit MT outputs to client specifications, ensuring accuracy, terminology and style. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Translation or Applied Linguistics, is a native English speaker, and has MTPE experience with TM/TMS tools.

Qualifications

• Degree in Translation or Applied Linguistics or equivalent experience.
• Native speaker of English with excellent written and spoken skills.
• MT Post-Editing (MTPE) experience required.
• IT/Software translation experience preferred.
• Experience with Translation Memory tools and TMS required.

Responsibilities

• Post-edit MT outputs (light and full) to client specifications.
• Ensure target text accurately reflects source meaning and terminology.
• Apply corrections and text optimization based on MT output.
• Follow post-editing guidelines and quality standards for client satisfaction.
• Respect formatting, tagging, punctuation and style guidelines.
