Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree required; PhD preferred.
• Texas license in Medical Physics required.
• ABR or equivalent board certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in Diagnostic Radiological Physics and Medical Nuclear Physics.
• Serve as primary Radiation Safety Officer for X-Ray registrations and RAM licenses.
• Develop radiation safety policies and minimize patient and staff exposure.
• Oversee imaging QA, shielding calculations, and equipment performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with health physicists on incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Participate in Radiation Protocol and Safety Committee activities and accreditation efforts.
