Qualifications

• Clinical experience post graduate training preferred.
• Four (4) years of related experience preferred.
• Member of the American Association of Physicist in Medicine or equivalent society.
• Eligible to be the principal Radiation Safety Officer as defined by Texas rules.

Responsibilities

• Provides expertise in Diagnostic Radiological Physics and Medical Nuclear Physics.
• Act as primary Radiation Safety Officer for RAM licenses and X-Ray registrations.
• Develops and evaluates radiation safety policies to minimize exposure.
• Oversees equipment evaluations (EPE) for x-ray and imaging devices to ensure quality.
