Job summary

Long Run Partners is seeking a full-time Residential Mortgage Servicing and Asset Management Analyst to work as a full-time remote employee. The role supports Asset Management, Operations and Accounting to oversee servicing oversight, settlements, and asset management for non-agency residential loans.

The ideal candidate has a background in residential mortgage servicing or asset management, strong Excel skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in mortgage banking, default servicing, asset management, servicing oversight, or secondary marketing.
• General understanding across key asset management functions, including loss mitigation, foreclosure, bankruptcy and REO.
• Familiarity with loan servicing transfers, EPD/EPO management and servicing boarding.
• Residential mortgage servicing background.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Willingness to work in a start-up environment and wear multiple hats.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of asset management activities across loss mitigation, foreclosure, bankruptcy, claims administration, and REO operations
• Assist with all aspects of mortgage servicing oversight, including servicing boarding, payment tracking & reconciliation and early payoff / early payment default management
• Manage research requests, supporting operations and accounting team in addressing borrower, investor or 3rd party inquiries
• Collaborate with Capital Markets, Credit and Operations groups to develop reporting related to loan payments and servicing
• Coordinate with sub-servicer to review loan boarding and loan payments
• Prepare, maintain, and distribute mortgage funding schedules, and loan-level funding reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and adherence with investor and internal requirements.
• Collaborate with Technology to bring efficiencies in business process through the appropriate adoption and integration of technological solution / tools
