Job summary

Anchor Loans LP, part of Pretium Partners, seeks a Senior Asset Manager for the Special Servicing Team. You will manage non-performing loans, maximize collateral value, and guide recovery efforts while ensuring compliance with laws.

This fully remote role may require travel. You will liaise between borrowers and investors, analyze valuations, monitor foreclosures and bankruptcies, and prepare reports for senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, or related field.
• 8+ years real estate asset management experience.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex cases efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented, impeccable writing and grammar skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of loans in imminent or active default, overseeing all aspects of resolution.
• Conduct detailed research on default matters to develop optimal resolution strategies.
• Review and approve documentation required throughout the default management process.
• Communicate effectively with clients, legal counsel, and third-party vendors.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize recovery outcomes.
• Maintain thorough documentation of actions, analyses, and communications.
• Present asset status, resolution strategies, and recovery forecasts to management.
• Analyze property valuations, assess NPV, and prepare cash flow analyses.
• Monitor and track foreclosure proceedings, motions, hearings, and required actions.
• Monitor bankruptcy filings and other actions that may impact foreclosure.
• Prepare and submit bidding instructions for management approval.
• Track REO properties post-sale through confirmation, redemption, or ratification.
• Resolve delinquent tax issues and review vendor invoices for accuracy.
• Help train junior team members for success.
