Job summary

Chickasaw Community Bank seeks a Mortgage Loan Assistant to support the loan application process, handling administrative and prequal duties for a mortgage sales team. You will gather documentation, coordinate with Mortgage Officers and Processors, and help keep files in the LOS.

Qualifications

• Mortgage processing or lending experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; higher degree preferred.
• Strong computer skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the loan application process and assist with administrative, processing, and prequalification duties for the mortgage sales team.
• As needed, communicate with clients to obtain information and facilitate process steps including potential sales opportunities for the Mortgage Loan Officer.
• Order and collect documentation required for timely loan closings and ensure all files are accurately updated in the LOS.
• Act as liaison between Mortgage Loan Officer and Mortgage Processor and coordinate with realtors, builders, and borrowers as necessary.
• Monitor pipeline status, follow up on missing documentation, and maintain comprehensive notes in the loan files.
• Assist with scheduling, open houses, and coordination of marketing efforts related to mortgage activity.
