Capital Bank is hiring a Mortgage Loan Processor for a 100% remote role. You will work with loan originators to process mortgage loans, review applications for accuracy, advise on viability, and gather documents for underwriting.

The job requires recent mortgage-industry experience, knowledge of lending terminology, and the ability to handle conventional, FHA, and VA loans while delivering strong customer service.

Competenze

• Recent experience in mortgage industry as an assistant, loan processor or loan officer.
• Knowledge of lending terminology.
• Experience processing conventional, FHA and VA loans.
• Proven customer service ability.

Mansioni

• Calculates principal, interest and closing costs and notifies the borrower.
• Prepares mortgage loan files by reviewing loan applications and clarifying/obtaining information.
• Confirms loan application information by contacting verification sources.
• Obtains mortgage loan documentation by ordering credit reports, surveys, appraisals, titles and related information.
• Identifies problems by highlighting deficiencies and notifying underwriter/supervisor.
• Discloses new loans, issues COC's and sets up loans.
