Capital Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor for a 100% remote role, serving clients nationwide with a focus on accuracy and timely underwriting submission. The role supports loan originators and requires reviewing applications, gathering documents, and communicating loan viability to the LO.

Applicants should have recent mortgage industry experience, knowledge of lending terminology, and a track record in processing conventional, FHA, and VA loans, along with strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Recent experience in the mortgage industry as an assistant, loan processor or loan officer is required.
• Knowledge of lending terminology and the ability/experience speaking with borrowers regarding lending requirements.
• Experience processing conventional, FHA and VA loans.
• Proven customer service ability is required.

Responsabilités

• Calculates principal, interest and closing costs and notifies the borrower.
• Prepares mortgage loan files by reviewing loan applications and clarifying/obtaining information.
• Confirms loan application information by contacting verification sources.
• Obtains mortgage loan documentation by ordering credit reports, land surveys, appraisals, titles, etc.
• Identifies problems by highlighting deficiencies and notifying underwriting and supervisors.
• Discloses new loans, issues COC's and completes setup of loans.
