Job summary

FAIRWINDS Credit Union seeks an External Mortgage Loan Officer to expand our reach nationwide and connect more homebuyers with mortgage solutions. You will build relationships with real estate professionals, prospect through networking and events, and represent FAIRWINDS to grow your pipeline.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of external mortgage lead generation and loan origination experience.
• Strong network and passion for building relationships within your market.
• Excellent communication, follow-through, and sales skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other community professionals to drive mortgage leads.
• Actively prospect through cold calling, networking, presentations, and community involvement.
• Represent FAIRWINDS at events, deliver engaging presentations, and drive brand awareness to grow your pipeline.
• Take complete and accurate mortgage applications, obtain necessary documents, and oversee loan status through to closing.
• Partner with a processor and prioritise underwriting to close loans efficiently.
• Ensure exceptional member experience by interfacing with all parties from application to closing.
