Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services-Retail Lending is seeking a mid-level Business Reporting Analyst to develop and maintain reports and dashboards for the Mortgage Lending Division. You will analyze data, identify trends, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and improve reporting processes.

You will work on regulatory reporting (HMDA, Fair Lending), ensure accuracy, and train business users on reporting tools.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, SSRS)
• Intermediate knowledge of Power BI, SSRS, and SQL
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Attention to detail and analytical mindset
• Experience with large datasets and relational databases
• Residential mortgage data terminology knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business units to gather reporting requirements and deliver insights.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting requirements (HMDA, Fair Lending, state/federal reporting).
• Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for operational improvement.
• Perform data validation and develop exception reports.
• Develop and maintain recurring and ad hoc reports using BI tools (Power BI, SSRS, SQL).
• Automate manual reporting processes to improve efficiency.
• Support data dictionary development for Mortgage Lending data; document procedures.
