Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services-Retail Lending is seeking a mid-level BI Analyst to develop and maintain reports, analyze data, and support decision-making within the Mortgage Lending Division. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure compliance with HMDA and other regulatory reporting.

Target pay range is $75,000 to $95,000. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, Power BI/SSRS proficiency, SQL experience, and a proven ability to translate

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, SSRS).
• Intermediate knowledge of Power BI, SSRS, and SQL.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with large datasets and relational databases.
• Residential mortgage data familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business units to gather reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting requirements (HMDA, Fair Lending) and ensure timeliness and accuracy.
• Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for operational improvement.
• Perform data validation and develop error/crash reports for data quality.
• Develop and maintain recurring and ad hoc reports using BI tools (Power BI, SSRS, SQL).
• Automate manual reporting processes to reduce effort and errors.
• Support development of a data dictionary for Mortgage Lending data and document reporting procedures.
• Provide training and support to business users of reporting tools.
