Carrington Mortgage Services-Retail Lending is seeking a mid-level Business Reporting Analyst to develop and maintain reports and dashboards, analyze data, and support decision-making within the Mortgage Lending Division. The role emphasizes collaboration across teams, regulatory reporting (HMDA, Fair Lending), and data dictionary development.

The position requires strong Excel skills, proficiency with Power BI, SSRS, and SQL, plus experience with large datasets and mortgage data terminology.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, SSRS).
• Intermediate knowledge of Power BI, SSRS, and SQL.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Experience with large datasets and relational databases.
• Knowledge of residential mortgage lending data/terminology.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business units to gather reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting (HMDA, Fair Lending) and ensure timeliness and accuracy of reports.
• Analyze data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for operational improvement.
• Validate data and develop exception reports.
• Develop and maintain recurring and ad hoc reports using BI tools (Power BI, SSRS, SQL).
• Automate manual reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
• Develop and maintain a data dictionary for Mortgage Lending data and document reporting procedures.
• Provide training and support to business users on reporting tools.
