Carrington Mortgage Services-Retail Lending is seeking a mid-level Business Reporting Analyst to develop and maintain reports, analyze data, and support decision-making for the Mortgage Lending Division. The role emphasizes regulatory reporting, data quality, and cross-functional collaboration.

The candidate should have experience with BI tools (Power BI, SSRS), SQL, and Excel, along with strong analytical and communication skills to operate in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, SSRS).
• Intermediate knowledge of Power BI, SSRS, and SQL.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and provide insights.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business units to gather reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting requirements such as HMDA, Fair Lending, and state/federal reports; support findings with data.
• Analyze data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for operational improvement.
• Perform data validation and analysis of reportable data to ensure accuracy and develop exception reports.
• Develop and maintain recurring and ad hoc reports using BI tools (Power BI, SSRS, SQL).
• Automate manual reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
• Support the development of a data dictionary for Mortgage Lending data and document report procedures.
