Job summary

Southern New Hampshire University is seeking a Modern Workplace Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers and administrators. You will stay hands-on across Microsoft 365, endpoint management, collaboration, and identity while guiding architectural decisions and complex incident response.

You will translate departmental strategy into technical execution, develop team capabilities, and partner with leadership on platform strategy, budgeting, and delivery.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of progressive experience in Modern Workplace technologies or related field.
• Three or more years of formal people-management or team-leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree acceptable.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and multiple Modern Workplace disciplines.
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-scale technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Modern Workplace engineers and administrators.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership across Microsoft 365, endpoint management, collaboration, and identity.
• Serve as escalation point for complex incidents and architectural decisions.
• Translate strategy into technical roadmaps and delivery plans.
• Establish standards, engineering practices, and accountability expectations.
• Coordinate technical delivery across Microsoft 365, Intune, Windows, macOS, MECM, Autopilot, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID, Power Platform, Copilot.
