Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Model Risk Advisor for a remote role across the United States (excluding Hawaii and Alaska). The role focuses on governance of AI policies, model risk management, and compliance with regulatory expectations.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive governance improvements, develop metrics, and provide executive insights on risk and controls. This position supports enterprise-wide AI governance initiatives.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Model risk management and related practices.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management, data science or a related field.
• Experience in AI Model governance or Model Risk Management or Audit.
• Knowledge of compliance monitoring and auditing principles.
• Strong written and verbal skills with ability to translate technical topics.

Responsibilities

• Engage with enterprise AI community to promote AI governance policies, standards, and responsible AI practices.
• Maintain a complete inventory of statistical, ML, AI, and GenAI models with ownership, risk ratings and metadata.
• Assess model risk based on complexity, regulatory requirements and business impact; identify emerging risks.
• Support Model Risk Management frameworks, processes, controls, and procedures.
• Monitor model performance, governance controls, KRIs, and compliance with policies and standards.
