Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group (CSAA IG) is actively hiring a Model Risk Advisor - Remote. The role focuses on promoting effective governance for AI, maintaining model inventories, and ensuring compliance with policies and standards across the enterprise.

You will collaborate with risk teams, auditors, and external partners to address identified risks. The position emphasizes remote work within the United States (excluding Hawaii and Alaska).

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in model risk management, risk, and audit.
• Knowledge of compliance monitoring and/or auditing principles.
• Knowledge of privacy, security, and AI governance standards.
• Ability to communicate technical topics to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Promote AI governance policies, standards, and responsible AI practices across the enterprise.
• Maintain an inventory of AI/ML/GenAI models with ownership and risk ratings.
• Assess model risk by complexity, regulatory requirements, and business impact; identify emerging risks.
• Develop and implement Model Risk Management frameworks, controls, and procedures.
• Monitor governance controls, KRIs, and policy compliance; call out issues as needed.
• Support model validation and testing activities, define scope, and document findings.
