Job summary

BAND-IT, a unit of IDEX, is seeking a Business Development Manager focused on expanding BAND-IT data center solutions across hyperscale and colocation projects in the United States.

You will drive strategic market development, work with engineers and A&E firms to secure specifications, and manage full project cycles from identification to closure, leveraging CRM dynamics and industry events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, business, or a related technical field.
• 3–6 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, with a focus on data center infrastructure or related solutions.
• Direct experience selling into Hyperscalers or Tier 1 Colocation providers.
• Experience in value-engineering products to reduce installation time and costs.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a data center market development plan targeting hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and A&E firms to secure product specifications in the design-build phase.
• Develop relationships with decision-makers at data center operators and EPC contractors.
• Lead full project sales cycle from opportunity to proposal, negotiation and closure.
• Provide technical sales support and assist with site surveys and design discussions.
