Job summary

Samsara is seeking a Sales Manager to lead and develop a team of Account Executives II, focusing on mid-sized Private Sector organizations. This remote role supports candidates in the US Pacific/Mountain Time Zone and offers relocation not provided.

Qualifications

• At least two years of proven leadership performance.
• Strong track record of overachievement with coaching experience.
• Understanding of complex sales cycles with multiple decision makers.
• Excellent communication skills and comfortable with public speaking.
• Strong interpersonal and team management skills.
• Self-starter and adaptable to change.
• Growth mindset to learn a unique industry.
• Experience providing upwards feedback to upper management.
• Ability to forecast pipeline accurately.
• Comfort working with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient with SFDC, SalesLoft, Gong.

Responsibilities

• Coach a team of ~8 account executives on sales strategy, pipeline reviews and quarterly targets.
• Hire new account executives and provide onboarding and ongoing coaching.
• Work cross-functionally to strategically solve problems and project manage.
• Create content for ongoing training and development.
• Support account executives through professional development plans.
• Provide clear and tactical feedback to account executives.
• Foster a high-performance culture and embed Samsara's principles.
• Hire, develop and lead an inclusive, engaged team.
