Job summary

Chelsea Search Group is seeking an experienced Microelectronics Business Development Manager (remote) to drive growth in custom and standard semiconductor products from Minneapolis, MN.

You will bridge engineering and business development, engaging with Mil-Aero, Industrial, Medical markets, and shaping architectures, design automation, FPGA/ASIC opportunities. Collaborate with engineering, product and leadership teams; travel up to 30% and deliver compelling technical and business proposals.

Qualifications

• BSEE/MSEE or equivalent.
• 3+ years in Design Automation, FPGA, or ASIC Design.
• 5+ years in the Semiconductor industry; advanced degrees may reduce required experience.
• Strong English oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Mil-Aero and/or Industrial customers a plus.
• Familiarity with analog/digital/mixed-signal design fundamentals and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Close business by providing technical sales support throughout the sales cycle.
• Contribute to development of overall ASIC architecture.
• Develop long-term client relationships by managing and interpreting requirements.
• Develop technical and cost proposals.
• Deliver technical presentations showing how products meet client needs.
• Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects.
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
• Understand technical requirements and forecast customer needs.
• Travel up to 30%.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, product, and leadership teams.
• Attend trade shows and conferences to support marketing.
