Job summary

Chelsea Search Group is seeking an experienced Microelectronics Business Development Manager to drive growth in custom and standard semiconductor products. This remote role focuses on bridging engineering with business development across Mil-Aero, Industrial, and Medical markets.

You will translate customer requirements into technical and business opportunities, collaborate with engineering and leadership teams, and develop cost estimates for new opportunities. Travel up to 30% is anticipated.

Qualifications

• BSEE or MSEE or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years of experience in Design Automation, FPGA, or ASIC Design.
• 5+ years in the Semiconductor industry; advanced degrees may reduce experience requirements.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Mil-Aero or Industrial customers is a plus.
• Strong technical documentation and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Close business by providing technical sales support during various stages of the sales cycle.
• Develop long-term relationships with clients by interpreting their requirements and proposing solutions.
• Prepare technical and cost proposals for opportunities.
• Make technical presentations to show how a product meets client needs.
• Meet sales targets and coordinate sales projects.
• Travel up to 30% and collaborate with sales, engineering, and product teams.
